Lauren Hartle is a Senior Associate at Prime Impact Fund, with responsibility to source investment opportunities broadly, manage the Fund’s investment pipeline, and support investment diligence. Lauren joined Prime Impact Fund from a postdoctoral scholar role at Tufts University where she focused on novel inorganic absorber layers for photovoltaic cells. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked in R&D at AlphaVax, a vaccine development start-up. Lauren holds a B.S. in Physics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as well as a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Harvard, where she developed the Energy 101 short course and led the Energy Journal Club.
